the EAGLES

The EAGLES, my crazy netball team, won our league the other night and have been moved up TWO divisions. Thought this called for a little celebration so we are getting some tees printed.

RETRO PRESS MURAL

Working any extra hours I could find in the days belonging to the last two months, I would head over to this incredible hidden studio containing crazy letterpress owned by the hardworking company Retro Press. Here I painted a mural basing the illustrations on 'retro' household objects and things relating to RetroPress. 

Also I made a few parts interactive, for example I hammered in nails to the points of the antlers so you could hang coats/hats/equipment, or the clock face which is real so that tells the time! 

Plus a couple of real frames that I painted black to carry on the 3D effect.

I made a little stop frame animation documenting the process, and managed to dig out my old electric guitar to play a few riffs over the top for you too.

In the back streets of Cheltenham lies 

a little letterpress studio called.. 

 RETRO PRESS 

By golly they did a grand job embossing my business cards.

Perfect hook up for those engaged couples out there, businesses, 

or even if you just fancied getting your favourite word printed for the house… 

like LUNCH or something (my favourite of course) Retro Press is where its at. 

I will be teaming up with Retro Press in early April for a creative research trip to Berlin, 

right after a little Mural side project for the studio. Watch. This. Space.

Miss Webb has been to visit and so we have been doing what women do best..

First attempt animating cooking a recipe, frustrating because now when I watch this all I see are more creative ideas we could of done for this, so just going to have to do many more! Watch this space!

drawing I have been training to be a performer in the 
Olympic Opening Ceremony London 2012!

Such an adrenaline dancing in that stadium in front of the Queen and the NATION!
Danny Boyle is an absolute legend, and of course Mr Kenrick H20 himself from Boy Blue Entertainment…living the olympic dream.

So Megadeath and I went along to the FIVB Volleyball Olympic Test at the Horse Guard Parade last Sunday 14th August! We were very lucky because it was the semi's and finals so saw some amazing matches!

Thought I would make a small experimental video with the new 8mm to mark the day I have decided I want to become a professional volleyball player… Just made it into the Richmond Womens team. It's a start! Watch this space! Next olympics 2016 bring it on!
